Meeting Minutes

December 28th, 2023 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call:  Meggan Quigley, Cyndie Winchell, Paula Niccum

Approval of Minutes:  Meggan made a motion to approve the November 23 minutes as posted on the website, Cyndie seconded.  Motion carried, minutes approved.

Financial Information:  Meggan read reports from the county for October and November 2023.  Some things need to be checked with our bookkeeper.  Cyndie will address these.  Motion to aprove made by Cyndie, seconded by Paula.  Motion carried, financial reports approved.

Public Input: None.

Old Business:  

Project update-  Still waiting for completion of some tasks by the contractor working on the well lot building before the plumber can complete their work.  Discussed assessing liquidated damages until work is complete.  Cyndie said she would talk to Dusty & possibly another county lawyer. 

Website overhaul-  Mike Lilley has agreed to update our website and because of the functions our website performs we have been able to get approval tu us ARPA contingency funds.   

SMS Notification issues-  Next month the board will divide up the resident contact list among the members and contact everyone to get a cell phone number for every household.

Solar Panels-  on hold for future consideration

Generator-  on hold for future consideration

New Business:

SOW documentation-  The board has begun work on Scope of Work documents for contractors. 

Resolution 2023-14 to make Bond payment WRF-23522.  Motion made, seconded and passed to approve payment of the bond.

Resolution 2023-15 to make Bond payment WSRF-09128.  Motion made, seconded and passed to approve payment of the bond.

Resolution 2023-15 to make a $350.00 donation to the East Missoula Fire Department.  Motion made, seconded and passed to approve the donation.

Signage for the Sewer lot-  The board discussed posting no parking signage for the sewer lot on Edgewood to prevent summer floaters from parking on our drainfield.  Fencing the lot was also discussed.

Ferguson Training-  Miquelle, the sales rep for Ferguson Water Works has left their employ.  Cyndie has contaced Ferguson and they assure us we will continue to get all the training we need.
