Meeting Minutes

October 26th, 2023 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call:  Paula Niccum Meggan Quigley, Cyndie Winchell, Dusty Deschamps, 

Approval of Minutes:  Dusty made a motion to approve the minutes, Meggan seconded.  Motion carried, minutes approved. 

Financial Information:  Meggan read the September financial report from the county.  The power bill for the booster station still seems high even though Andy adjusted the use of the mixer in the tank to see if it would  reduce power used.  The board will look into having Northwestern Energy do an audit.

Public Input: None.

Old Business:  Project update:  The fence was installed and locks were placed on the gate, the board now has keys.  Construction on the building will  resume after the next inspection.  Dusty will call Josh Patterson about installation of the culvert  at the well house and repair of the booster station vault drain.  Cyndie is still working to nail down the landscapers for the O’Connel yard.  

Solar panels and generator are on hold until other system upgrade projects are completed.

 

Website overhaul- on hold for now.

Water system operator report- all testing including some extra tests had good results.

Repair work on the water line leak between the curb stop and the Sorenson property was completed by the owner.

The board collaborated on budget projections for F/Y 2024.

 

New Business:

Ordinance update:  The board has physical copies to review and will discuss at the November meeting.

*NOVEMBER MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY NOVEMBER 16 BECAUSE THE 4TH THURSDAY (23RD) IS THANKSGIVING DAY.
