Meeting Minutes

September 28th, 2023 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call:  Paula Niccum, Cyndie Winchell, Meggan Quigley, Michael Bushey, Dusty Deschamp

Approval of Minutes:  Dusty made a motion to approve, Michael seconded.  Motion carried, minutes approved.

Financial Information:  Meggan read the financial reports from the county for August.  Paula made a motion to approve the financial report, Dusty seconded.  Motion carried, report approved.

Public Input: None.

Old Business:  

Budget:  We found that the side by side documents we used last year to be really helpful to develop the projected budget.  We will have them next month and work on the budget then.

Project Update-  We are waiting on Josh Patterson to work on the booster station vault drain and culvert installation at the well lot.  We are waiting for fencing of the well lot to be installed by Trenchless.  The building on the well lot is under construction and plumbing will be replaced by Mickelson when building is completed.  Signage for the fencing will be provided by the towing company who has agreed to tow cars parked on the property.

Decisions on a generator and/or solar panels will be addresses after all high priority expenditures have been reconciled.  

Resolution for ARPA draw #9 was discussed.  Draw includes payment for Ferguson (meters and readers), Mickelson  ( plumbing), and Great West  Engineering.  Dusty made a motion to approve the draw, Paula seconded.  Motion carried and resolution approved.

New Business
The board is looking at reviewing our ordinances, we will discuss it more at the next meeting.

Cyndie asked Andy whether we should chlorinate in the fall and spring during the times that people are shutting down and starting their sprinkler systems.  He said that he chlorinated the system periodically, so we decided to have him continue chlorinating as he has been.
