Meeting Minutes

November 7th, 2018 06:00 PM at East Missoula Fire Department

Roll Call: Dusty Deschamps, Kari Wafsted, Cyndie Winchell, Paula Niccum

Approval of Minutes: A motion to approve minutes as posted on site was made by Kari, seconded by Cyndie.  Motion passed, minutes approved.

Financial Information:  Cyndie read Financial information for July.  Motion made to approve by Dusty, seconded by Paula.  Motion carried, financials approved.

Public Input: None.

Old Business:  All meters that had been purchased have been identified as having been installed.

New Business:  Board needs to purchase new meters.  

Barb has secured a card for the Board to use for purchases.  Paperwork for all board members to be authorized users was completed and will be submitted.  Dusty mad a motion that statements will be reviewed by the board at monthly meetings.  Motion seconded by Kari, motion passed.

Water in the Booster station building vault- how to remedy:

-The top is askew, proposal to purchase something to cover the whole top and down the sides.

-Possible purchase of a sump pump in the spring if issue not resolved.  It would be less costly than digging down to the depth of the vault to excavate the collapsed drain line.

The Byrne outdoor meter was not read all summer.  Will work with meter reader to remedy going forward. 

The board is working on storage shelving for protecting the paperwork in the booster station and mouse control for the building.

Kari Wafsted announced her resignation from the board.  Her last meeting will be Wednesday December 5.  Anyone interested in serving on the board should contact any board member or come to a meeting.
