Meeting Minutes
June 1, 2016 6:00 Bonner Lutheran Church
Roll Call: Cyndie Winchell, Mike Lilley, Barb Powell, Paula Niccum. Kari Wafsted participated via speaker phone.
Minutes: Motion to approve as posted on website by Mike, seconded by Cyndie. Motion carried, minutes approved.
Financials: Barb read financial report for February. Motion to approve as ready made by Mike, seconded by Paula, motion carried, report approved. Barb read the financial report for April, motion to approve made by Mike, seconded by Cyndie, motion carried and report approved.
Public input: None
Old Business: Sewer lot fencing- two bids requested, only one response received, estimate seemed high. Barb will request two more bids.
Meeting with County Attorney- The district has the power with organization and ordinances to address issues regarding water and waste water. Beyond those issues nothing can be done without justifying the effort and expense. The county attorney’s office can’t help us, they have too much other stuff to do and this would be a low priority. They recommend we put up a fence on the sewer lot and keep track of any illegal activity.
New Business: Bond payment. Resolution 2016-01 to make the bond payment. Motion to approve by Paula, seconded by Barb, motion carried, resolution passed. Payment gets delivered to Dawn Overbaugh at Missoula County office of financial services.
Cyndie will deliver it to Dawn.
Mike Lilley submitted his resignation from the board. We will need to find someone to replace him. We will need to redo signature cards so that forms can be processed.
A resolution will be written to appoint someone for the position. His term expires in 2017.
Someone needs to take custody of District paperwork. Some need to be immediately accessible, some is archival and just needs to be kept. Cyndie will store the immediately accessible papers. The archival papers will be stored in the water tank pump house. They will be elevated to prevent water damage. Cyndie or Paula will record the attendance from sign in sheets on the website.
Jim Harrison’s extra meter is not working. Cyndie will be contacting him about replacement.
Next meeting there should be resolutions to compensate Tom Carrol for well pump lot maintenance (200.00), and Mike Huber for mowing the tank house lot and putting out signage for meetings every month(100.00).
Cyndie moved to adjourn, Mike seconded, motion carried, meeting adjourned.
