Meeting Minutes

February 3rd, 2016 06:00 PM at Lutheran Church

 

Roll call: Paula Niccum, Kari Wafstedt, Cyndie Winchell, Mike Lilley, Barb Powell

 

Minutes:  Motion to approve as posted made by Mike L,, seconded by Kari W, motion passed.

Financials:  Financials were read and motion to approve as read made by Cyndie W, seconded by Mike L, motion passed. 

 

Public input:  Burns lot sewer hookup query.  The number of sewer lot hookups for the subdivision is 12.  All of those hookups are being used.  There is an issue with lot 35 and whether sewer is available to use for that lot.  The hookup for that lot is being used by the Ray Burns property.  The county has told us another sewer hookup would require us to double the size of the system.  The district has to comply with the regulations of the county, the health department, and the state.  Documentation of sewer permit needs to be supplied by the property owners that will satisfy/comply with all relevant government entities.

The property owners will need to research same and present us with evidence before any changes can be made.

 

Old Business:  Property tax exemption for district will be filed by Barb.  To file for property  tax exemption requires a fee, Barb will have to contact state as to how to proceed because county will have to provide payment.

 

Sewer lot surveillance cameras still being researched.  Also waiting for fencing bids.
