Meeting Minutes
August 5, 2015 06:00 pm Bonner Lutheran Church
Roll Call: Mike Lilley, Mike Huber, Cyndie Winchell, Kari Swenson, Paula Niccum
Motion made by Mike Lilley to approve minutes as posted on website, second by Mike Huber. Motion carried, minutes approved.
Financial Information: Nothing new from the county to report.
There was a discussion about the two households that were behind in payments.
Old Business:
- Darrah Residence looks curiously green after water was shut off for non-payment. The show no sign that they are doing without water. District will investigate cost of digging up and capping the line. Cost of capping the line will be reported to the county assessor. Expenses will be added to what is already owed, although reimbursement is not likely to occur in this tax year. The district may need a new curb stop closer to the street.
- Elections- Kari Swanson completed paperwork to fill Tom Walter’s position on the water district board.
- There was continued discussion about our bookkeeper Donna and Quickbooks.
- Pummil proposal to purchase water from the system occasionally- no proposal presented yet.
- Sewer lot signage done, board members assisted by system members Adam Pummil and Steve Williams.
New Business:
- Chlorination occurred after the power outage, and again after the break and repair of the water line servicing the Grob residence.
- Repair of water line to Grobs: residents lost water and had a leak in the yard. Curb box is not on their property. When water was shut off at the curb stop, four other houses lost their water as well. The decision was made to dig up the line for repair on Saturday afternoon, work completed at just after midnight Sunday morning.
- New Secretary: Paula Niccum will take minutes in September and October after which time it may be either Paula Niccum or Kari Swanson.
