A resolution updating Certain of the district’s policies
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF directors of the sunny meadows Missoula county water and sewer district:
WHEREAS, the District’s contracted services are fulfilled by companies and individuals who will occasionally be unable to continue performing those services; and
WHEREAS, the District has defined policies for filling contracted positions on those occasions; and
WHEREAS, the District had established a policy for the process of filling each position in 2007; and
WHEREAS, the District has established a policy allowing timely payment of bills in situations where said payment cannot wait for the next regular meeting of the board without becoming delinquent; and
WHEREAS, the District’s policies require periodic review of said policies.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the District adopt the Pre-Approved Expenses policy and Job Opening Policy dated May 5, 2011 as the official job descriptions for the District, and that those job descriptions should be effective until their re-review, currently scheduled for May, 2015.
